Guideline for Application/Selection of Student Overseas Exchange Program
for 2027 Fall
Ⅰ. List of partner universities open for 2027 Fall and the number of places offered by each university: Please refer to Appendix I. (Renewed on 2026.9.21)
Ⅱ. Period of Exchange:
2027 Fall semester (In principle, the exchange period granted to each applicant will be limited to one semester.)
※ The CSS student selection process for the overseas exchange program will be held each semester. Students who plan to study abroad as exchange students during the Fall 2027 semester through this program should submit their applications by the deadline specified in the guidelines.
Ⅲ. Qualifications for Application:
1. Students of the College of Social Sciences, including double-major students, are eligible to
apply for the College’s exchange student program selection.
2. Undergraduate students must be at least in their second year of study. Graduate students
must have completed at least one semester of study at NCCU.
3. Students who pass the selection process and are nominated by CSS, NCCU must remain enrolled as full-time students at NCCU during the Fall Semester of 2027.
Ⅳ. Application Deadline and Procedure:
Please complete the online application form and submit the required documents to the CSS International Program Office (12th Floor, Northern Wing, General Building) between November 2 and 5:00 p.m. on November 9, 2026.
** Late applications or applications with incomplete documents will not be accepted. **
Ⅴ. Documents to be Submitted:
1. Application form and Study plan (See Appendix II)
2. Proof of semester average ranking (Graduate students are exempt from this requirement.)
3. NCCU transcript in English and Chinese covering all academic years (One copy for each)
4. One copy of a language proficiency test score report issued within two years prior to the
application deadline.
5. Other supplementary or supporting materials, such as resume, letter of recommendation (two
copies at the maximum), and relevant certificates, etc.
※The letter of recommendation should be written either in English or in Chinese.
Ⅵ. Procedure for Selection:
A committee will be formed to review the materials submitted by the applicants. In principle,no face-to-face interviews will be conducted.
Ⅶ. Date of Announcement of Admission List:
The result will be announced on (or before) December 9, 2026.
Ⅷ. Regulations:
These guidelines are established in accordance with the “Regulations for the Implementation of the Outbound Exchange Student Program of the College of Social Sciences, National Chengchi University” and the academic agreements between the partner colleges and the College of Social Sciences, NCCU.
